With two decades of experience in triathlon, I have seen a lot of growth and change in the sport. My own athletic journey from beginner to world championship qualifier has encompassed the same potholes and injuries as any age group athlete. I have raced all over North America and the world and can share a wealth of experience and insights related to the more than one hundred events that I have participated in.
Now, as an Ironman & USAT certified coach I bring all of this experience as well as my unique perspective as a licensed physician to bear in planning a program that is not only rooted in the principles of successful triathlon training but also in injury prevention and recovery. My role as medical editor for both Inside Triathlon and Triathlete Magazines and for the Beginner Triathlete website has kept me current on medical and nutritional trends in the sport. With an intimate understanding of nutrition, human physiology and anatomy, I bring a scientific approach with evidence-based techniques to my athletes.
With my peers at LifeSport Coaching, I am well positioned to help bring athletes of all backgrounds and experiences to the next level in their triathlon journey.
