As a member of LifeSport Coaching, the TriDoc offers coaching for triathlon, running or cycling.
The TriDoc is me; Jeff Sankoff, an emergency physician, husband and father in Denver, CO. More than two decades ago, triathlon changed my life. Through a series of chance encounters I learned to swim and was on my way to embarking on what would become a passion for a sport that at that time I knew nothing about. I only knew that I was drowning in the pool and I did not want to do "that crazy race in Hawaii.”
A little over a year later, I finished my first sprint triathlon. An Olympic-distance, 70.3 and full Ironman followed. Initially content with my middle-of-the-pack status and then sidelined by an injury, I returned after a break and rose to the top of my age group, qualifying for the 70.3 World Championships six times as well as for Kona twice.
I've always tried to give back to the sport that gave me so much. First as a contributor to Triathlete, Inside Triathlon and Beginner Triathlete magazines and websites; later starting the TriDoc podcast and as a USAT and Ironman certified coach. As I have worked with more cyclists, I have also obtained my USA Cycling Level 3 certification in order to better serve my growing number of athletes who come from multi-sport or cycling only backgrounds.
Having raced all over the world at all distances, I have the experience to share with both newcomers and experienced athletes and the wisdom to help guide them through their own triathlon journey.
